8 months old

I can't believe this sweet boy is 8 months old already. I want to freeze him in time!! He is growing before my eyes and I'm trying to enjoy every.single.second. I couldn't imagine a happier baby than Charlie. Always smiling, giggling, squealing, and now saying "DaDa" That's right, he said his first words and yes, it was "dada." Although, really I think it was more like "gagagaga," but it's hard to tell. This boy is getting busier and busier by the day! When I try and hold him while sitting down, he is squirming to get out of my arms. He's all over the floor, (not crawling yet) but that's a good thing in my opinion, because I have a feeling that once he starts my life is going to be quite different! His sweet little face lights up when he sees either of his sisters. I can't begin to describe how much they love their little brother. They can't stand it when he cries trying everything to make him better and most of the time they do. It is amazing all that they do for him. He knows it too. They entertain him all the time, feed him bottles, get diapers, toys and anything else you could think of. He is a blessed little boy to have such loving sisters.

Those big blue eyes are irresistible!

That smile is contagious...

And that laugh is to die for!!!

Lets face it-You are so lovable and squeezable!!!

Charlie, your family loves you more than you could possibly imagine. You bring so much joy to us sweet boy! Happy 8 months!

Hannah playing soccer

Hannah decided that she wanted to play soccer this year! We chose to do Upward soccer through Willow Lake Church. It's close to us and I love the fact that it is Christian based. They pray before and after practice and have a bible verse each week to remember! She went for her evaluation and did really well so she was placed on a first grade team.(the Wolverines) She was so excited to go pick out her soccer gear which was shin guards, socks cleats, and new shorts. She had gotten a soccer ball at Christmas. Before her first practice, she and Sallie played a little in the front yard.

Wow, look at that kick! :) Ha Ha

Sallie mostly played with her Belle doll

Now, Sallie decides she wants to kick the ball with Hannah
This picture is so funny to me! If you notice, Hannah has her hands covering her ears...she sees a bee flying beside her and is scared...that is EXACTLY what I do...she is my child!!!
 Off to her first practice....

She warmed right up to her new teamates and coaches! So proud of her!

She is enjoying it so far and has her first game this Saturday!! Go Wolverines! :)

Daddy Daughter Dance

Charlie took Hannah to the Daddy/Daughter (or as Sallie refers to it: "The Daudy dance" -a combination of daddy and daughter) dance at Round Top this past Friday!  They had such a fun time together! They served Chick Fil-A (which was one of the most exciting parts for Hannah) danced and of course, Hannah ran around with all of her friends. They had a great time...it was a special night for both of them. While they didn't get any pictures at the dance, here are the ones I snapped before hand.

Hannah's pretty toenails and princess shoes!
Flowers that Daddy brought her before they left.

Hannah had a surprise for Charlie...a homemade heart that she had colored and  wrapped up for him
Now, Daddy had a special surprise for her! (And he picked it out and wrapped it all by himself)

A gold necklace with a pearl on it! She LOVED it !!

So he had to put it on right away!
 SO SWEET!!
Sallie had to get in the picture also. :) She didn't care one thing about not getting a necklace, she just wanted the box that it came in! She put it in her purse and she was happy!

I can't believe my little girl is already old enough to be going to dances (even if it is with her daddy)!

Sallie feeding Charlie

My little big helper is always willing when I need her. From running to get me a diaper, or grabbing a burp cloth (because he's spit up) to feeding Charlie a bottle, I can always count on my sweet Sallie. Not only does she ADORE her little brother, she is such great entertainment for him. When I'm trying to get out of the door and Charlie wants my attention all I have to say is "Sallie come dance for your brother" and she comes running. He is so blessed to have two of the best sisters in the world. He is the easiest and most laid back baby, but even if he weren't it would seem like it since I have great help! Thanks girls for always helping me!!! :)
