Edventure with the Duprees

We had a playdate with the Duprees at Edventure! My kids haven’t been in there in several years so they were very excited to go and to play with Emory, Watson, and Boland!

We first headed to the fire truck! The girls on the fire hose!!

We headed to the kids playroom where the babies could get out and play and we ended up staying there the whole time…the big kids didn’t mind. They played just as much!

As always, we had a great, fun play date with Emory, Watson and Boland and Amy and I always enjoying having an adult conversation! Can’t wait to do it again!

Every time I look at this picture, I can’t help but feel blessed beyond what I deserve. This may be one of my all time favorite pictures!!! I think because as cheezy as this sounds, I can really sense their love for each other! The way they are all snuggled up together (I didn’t tell them to do that!) and their genuine smiles!
One Sunday afternoon, I talked them into going outside and letting my take 100 pictures of them despite the heat! They were really good sports so of course they got a little treat afterwards. So, here are a handful of the pictures I took that afternoon. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I continue to!

A little from our garden

This year we decided to plant a garden (actually I didn't plant it, but I water it). It has been fun watching it grow and the girls love to go with us to pick the veggies. We planted: tomatoes, cucumbers, banana peppers, jalepeno peppers, okra, squash, strawberries, watermelon, chives,and rosemary. The peppers have been the easiest to grow and one of the yummiest! We have put them on everything-subs, pizza, you name it! We have also used the rosemary and chives a good bit. We love going to pick fresh rosemary and season our chicken with it! The tomatoes are still green, but hope to have some good ones soon! In the meantime, we are enjoying our few veggies that we are getting!

Lazy Day Saturday

One of our most favorite fun things to do on a lazy Saturday is to swim all day and grill out…especially when we have perfect weather! This was a fun family day!
