I finally convinced Charlie that it was time to take Hannah’s training wheels off. Poor thing, she said she felt like a baby with her training wheels on and I guess it doesn’t help that she is in DESPERATE need of a new bike (one that is much bigger) and a more age appropriate helmet and pads. (Dora is just so three year old!) Guess what she is asking Santa for?? Anyways, we headed out to the cul-de-sac for our first go-round!
Can you see the intensity on her face?
She was so excited, but nervous. Charlie was making sure to hold on tight. They went around and around only a couple times and then he slightly let off (without her knowing) and she kept her balance pretty good. She was thrilled to have done it by herself and we were so proud of her!
Sallie was happily riding her bike and
she notices that I am taking a picture of her and stops to cheese for the camera!
This little guy was content running around and playing in the street.
He then sees Hannah’s knee pad and enjoys pulling on it!
We had fun riding bikes in the cul-de-sac. It’s a sad realization that our sweet Hannah is old enough to ride her bike without training wheels. This growing up thing is for the birds!
