With a lot of excitement, Hannah headed to her first day of first grade! She was lucky enough to be able to “loop” with her kindergarten teacher, Mrs. Novack and have all of her same classmates move up a grade with her. They only had one new girl in her class and Hannah chose to sit beside her. Having so much familiarity helped her not to be nervous, but very excited. (and me too! 
She got a new (and bigger) book bag this year. She loves all the pockets and “hiding places” to put stuff.
A quick kiss from her little brother and it was time to walk her in school. We made it a family affair!
Daddy walks hand in hand with both of his little girls and I thought these were sweet pictures. I can’t believe Sallie will be at Round Top next year.
They even stayed in the same classroom as last year, but it was set up a little different. Still, she knew to find her name and cubby and sit down.
I snapped two more pictures of her sitting at her desk, kissed her and we all left. She seemed fine and I know she will have a fantastic year-just like the last!!
